Tirupati: Several VIPs had darshan of the Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Saturday.

YSRCP national secretary Vijaysai Reddy, Telugu Academy chairperson Lakshmi Parvathi and Govt Whip Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy were among those who offered prayers during VIP break darshan on Saturday.

Speaking to the media after darshan, Vijaysai Reddy said he prayed to the Lord for the well-being and happiness of the people under the rule of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Regretting hundreds of thousands suffering from Covid-19, he said the dreaded virus has been preventing hundreds of devotees who are eager to visit Tirumala to offer prayers to the Lord. Despite the adverse situation, TTD Chairman

YV Subba Reddy is able to ensure darshan to thousands by taking adequate safety measures, he said.

Vijaysai Reddy later visited Panchayat Raj Minister P Ramachandra Reddy at his residence in Tirupati on a courtesy call. He along with Urban SP A Ramesh Reddy visited SV Zoo park where he assured zoo authorities that he will strive for the development of the zoo.
