Training for ward secretaries conducted in Rajamahendravaram

Rajamahendravaram: Municipal Corporation Additional Commissioner NVV Satyanarayana Rao has said that the government has introduced ward secretariat system to deliver goods to the people in right time and also take the government at the doorstep of the people.

Addressing the third batch of ward secretaries training programme held here on Saturday evening, he said it is the duty of the ward secretaries to work with commitment and dedication and they should behave properly with the people.

The government already announced the list of services available in the ward secretariats and the municipal ward secretaries should put their endeavour to register the applications received from the people and sort them out.

Any lapses in discharging duties viewed very seriously and Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is very much particular for the effective functioning of ward secretariats, he added.

Out of 131ward secretaries 89 from the city and 42 from other municipalities participated in the training programme. Council secretary Sailaujvalli and others were present.
