Two junior students injured in seniors attack at RIMS Medical college in Srikakulam district

Following the rift between the students in the RIMS medical college in Srikakulam district, the senior students have detained the juniors in the hostel room for two days. Nitish Kumar and Akshay Kumar second-year MBBS students at RIMS Medical College were detained by senior students Nagesh and Rahul in a room for two days and beaten up with a cricket bat and rods. When Akshay and Nitish took the matter to their parents, they complained to the college principal.

The management called the parents of culprits Rahul and Nagesh and warned of severe consequences if the latter repeat the mistake. It is believed that the affair has subsided. However, four days later, the aggrieved students complained in Srikakulam Two Town Police Station.

Police have summoned Rahul and Nagesh to attend the trial following the complaint of Nitish and Akshay. Upon investigating, the police found that seniors have beaten up juniors.
