Vallabhaneni Vamsi seeks a separate seat in Assembly while speaker assures him to allocate a new one
The second day of winter assembly sessions began on Tuesday to continue the question hour. In interesting proceedings, MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi urged the speaker to give a separate seat irrespective of the party. However, the speaker ruled out his petition and advised him to sit wherever he would like to.
The firebrand MLA who resigned to TDP last month has arrived Assembly yesterday and shared his seats with TDP in the house. Interestingly, Vamsi asked to change his place. The Gannavaram MLA is yet to resign his post of the legislature.
Speaker Tammineni Sitaram later said that he would be allocated the separate seat as per the Assembly rules. While speaking in the house, Vamsi had given his explanation on his meeting with CM Jagan Mohan Reddy; Vamsi claimed that he met CM to discuss his constituency problems and said since he was suspended from the party he wants another seat. However, Vamsi, as usual, took potshots at Chandrababu and Lokesh.
