Vigilance and Enforcement department unearths hundreds of crore scam in ESI of Andhra Pradesh

After ESI scam in Telangana created ripples in the state, the Vigilance and Enforcement department of Andhra Pradesh have busted ESI scam. According to the sources, Vigilance and Enforcement department in its report have exposed the scam of looting the government's money for the last 6 years.

It has been confirmed that the crores of rupees were involved in the scam. The enforcement officials have found that the amount of 51 crores was sanctioned to the companies, which are not in existence with the help of fake quotations and orders.

ESI Directors Ravi Kumar, Ramesh and Vijay have been identified as responsible for this corruption. The companies who have participated in bids for procuring medicines have reportedly quoted 136 per cent more than the actual cost of drugs and equipment.

The directors have paid Rs 85 crore to Legend Enterprises and Ommemedy Inventor Performance to this extent while the six directors are involved in this massive corruption.
