Vizianagaram Collector M Hari Jawaharlal bags 'Man of Excellence Award'

Vizianagaram: Indian Achiever's Forum has announced 'Man of Excellence Award' to Vizianagaram District Collector Dr M Hari Jawaharlal for his contribution towards development of the district.

The secretary of the organisation, Satish, passed on the information to the district administration on Friday. This award is given for outstanding efforts made by the Collector for the development of the district during the last two- and-half years.

The District Collector recently received the National Water Award from the Union Jal Shakti Ministry for putting in the best efforts in water conservation. Several district officials and employees felicitated the Collector on the occasion.

Nearly 30 tanks have been developed and plantation activities taken up in Vizianagaram town as part of Haritha Vizianagaram campaign. The Collector has promoted three activities such as Spread Green, Save Blue and Donate Red.
