VSP staffer donate blood for 42nd time

Visakhapatnam: This is not the first time that Karri Srinvas donates his rare blood group 'O-ve' to a needy patient.

Working as deputy general manager at the Blast Furnace department, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, Srinivas had contributed to the lifesaving endeavour by donating blood to the patients on time.

On Thursday, Srinivas donated his blood for 42nd time to Anakapalle-based farmer Venkata Ramana, who has to undergo a surgery at a private hospital.

Sri Sathya Sai Samithi members, Ukkunagaram lauded the efforts of Srinivas for making himself accessible to blood banks and related apps so as to reach out to the needy during any emergency.
