Ward Secy posts: Certificate verification to commence on Sept 24

Chittoor: Verification of certificates for the qualified candidates of Ward Secretary posts will commence from 24th September onwards in which selection will be made on the basis of merit only said District Collector Narayan Bharat Gupta.

Notification for 1,730 Urban Ward secretary posts and 9,770 Village Secretaries posts for Chittoor district has been issued by the Government and certificates of about 11,000 candidates are expected to be verified.

Speaking to media men here on Saturday, he said verification of the certificates will be held at four centres DRDA Hall, ZP General Meeting Hall, P V K N Government Degree College ( Yoga centre ) , and Nagaiah Kalakshetram in Chittoor city.

Elaborate arrangements were made in the four centres for conducting the verification of certificates. Only merit list candidates will be intimated for verification of their certificates and not all the qualified candidates, he clarified.

Candidates belonging to Chittoor, Nagari, Puttur and GD Nellore division would be covered on September 24th, , Tirupati ,Chandragiri and Srikalahasti candidates on 25th and Madanapalli , Thamballapalli and Palamaner on 26th.

The candidates of Chittoor, Tirupati (Municipal Corporations), Madanapalli, Srikalahasti, Palamaner, Punganur, Nagai and Puttur (Municipalities) have to attend at Nagaiah Kalkshethram alone and all the Municipal Commissioner will take part in the verification of the certificates, the Collector added.
