Will expand 108,104 services: Minister Alla Nani
Amaravati: The AP Assembly sessions have reached to the eighth day on Monday (22 July). During the meeting, the YSRCP leaders have raised a question over the 108, 104 services in the House.
Responding to the question, Minister Alla Nani said that at present Only 439 ambulances are operating and the government is taking the measures to increase the number of ambulances to 710 in the state.
He also said they would expand the services of 108, 104 ambulances. Minister said that in AP Budget 2019-20, for 108 services Rs 143.38 crore and 104 ambulances Rs 179.76 crore has been allocated.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Gopi Reddy said that the 108 ambulance services stood as a role model in the country. Yearly 6 lakh people are using the services. MLA said suggested that the 108 staff should be given proper training and improve the facilities in ambulances.
