AbhiBus rolls out Prime service

Hyderabad: AbhiBus Services India Private Limited on Monday said AbhiBus.com, its online platform for bus ticketing, has launched AbhiBus Prime, a membership programme that allows customers an access to offers.

Also, a technology solution provider, AbhiBus said the new initiative permits cancellation of bookings at zero cancellation cost, complimentary travel insurance, travel insurance coverage of Rs 4 lakh and priority customer support.

Biju Mathews, Chief Operating and Strategy Officer, AbhiBus, said: "More than 50 per cent of bus travel bookings are done in the last minute while cancellations are done a couple of hours before the journey, which attracts huge cancellation charges.

To address this issue of cancellation woes, Abhibus has launched AbhiBus Prime."

The Prime customers are protected against cancellation charges for up to six bus bookings or hotel bookings in a year, two per month limiting to 12 seats and six rooms.

This loyalty programme will drive repeat purchases for Abhibus, Mathews added.
