Bank of India organises meet in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Bank of India on Monday said it held a meet with all its branches within the zone's jurisdiction on August 17 and 18, 2019 in the city.
The opening phase of the bank's bottom-up consultative process was conducted to generate ideas, review the banks performance and to align the performance with that of national priorities.
Bank of India said, in the first of its kind consultation, the branches themselves engaged in self-assessment, deliberated on issues and came with ideas for future strategy.
Also, the meet focussed on the ways to increase credit to various sectors of the economy by leveraging on data analytics, it said.
The bank said that several implementable and innovative suggestions were put forward related to the role of all PSBs in general and Bank of India in particular, can play in nation building.
"These suggestions have been collated and sent for further discussions at the State level, along with comparative performance assessment of the branches under each region", the spokesperson said.
The meet was held in the presence of C G Chaitanya, Executive Director, L Murali Krishna Raju, Zonal Manager, Telangana Zone and C Shobharani, Deputy Zonal Manager.
