IKP to celebrate 20th anniversary
Hyderabad: City-based IKP Knowledge Park is organising International Knowledge Millennium Conference (IKMC 2019) on November 8 & 9 as part of its 20th year of operations.
To mark the occasion, it will also release IKP 2.0, a blueprint of its activities for next 20 years, and open Agri-Innovation Translation Centre at 1.1 lakh sft sustainable Development Centre it established at IKP campus in Genome Valley on the city outskirts.
IT Minister KT Rama Rao is scheduled to inaugurate the centre.
"The 20-year anniversary marks an important milestone for us as we look back at the vision and mission of IKP, our achievements and the strong relationships that we built along this journey with the entire innovation community," Deepanwita Chattopadhyay, Chairman & CEO, IKP, told the media after release brochure of 20th anniversary celebrations. Over 500 delegates are expected to take part in the celebrations which will be held at IKP Campus and HICC.
The theme of IKMC2019 meet, the flagship event of the celebrations, is 'Planet and We: Our Connected Future'. The conference will deliberate on how solutions that aim to holistically address impacts on human and natural ecosystems are being developed through application of disruptive technologies.
Prasad Ede, COO & CFO, IKP, said: "IKP has so far supported around 520 innovative companies and projects. The conference will host a Startup Product Exhibition where 75 selected startups in medtech, industrial biotech, agriculture and mobility & IoT from across India will present their technologies".
