Raju, new chairman for CII Telangana
Hyderabad: D Raju, CEO & MD, Kirby Building Systems & Structures India, has been elected as chairman of CII Telangana for the year 2019-20.
Raju has a total experience of 37 years in areas of business leadership, turnaround management, strategic management, key account management, engineering & project management.
Under his leadership, Kirby in India is successfully operating with over 25 per cent market share and two plants in Hyderabad & Haridwar. He has successfully established Centre of Engineering Excellence (CEE) in Hyderabad in India with over 250 well-qualified & experienced personnel providing design and engineering services to Kirby Worldwide.
Raju, a native of Nizamabad, holds a Civil Engineering degree and MBA from Osmania University in India, and holds the title of Chartered Engineer from the Institute of Engineers - India.
Krishna Bodanapu, MD & CEO, Cyient, was elected as the vice-chairman for the year 2019-20. Krishna provides the strategic direction for growth and is responsible for all operations of Cyient.
Krishna initially joined Cyient (then Infotech) as a sales manager, driving sales of engineering services in Europe. He later moved to India, where he held dual roles of marketing manager, for the company's aerospace vertical, and Key Account Manager.
Earlier in the role of COO, Krishna contributed significantly to Cyient's consistent growth in terms of revenue, margin, customer and associate satisfaction.
Krishna holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University and a master's degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management, at Northwestern University.
