Drugs Arrests In Mumbai: NCB Examine Telugu Actor's Phone Conversations

A few days ago, NCB officials raided a hotel in Mumbai and had arrested an actress along with a drug peddler. Now details have come out about this arrested actress.

Her name is Shweta Kumari who initially used to work in Telugu movies and later acted in a Kannada movie also. Shweta Kumari had worked in a kannada movie titled "Ring Master" that was released in the year 2015.

NCB officer Sameer Wankhede has given details about the raid. "Our team conducted a well planned raid and arrested some accused. Shweta Kumari had connections with several drug peddlers. A case has been registered against them under NDPS section. The NCB is also keeping an eye on the financial transactions of this drug syndicate," said Sameer Wankhede.

We learn that Shweta Kumari who herself was a drug addict was also selling drugs. NCB officials who raided a hotel on Meera road on Saturday January 2 at Mumbai had arrested a drug peddler called Chand Mohammed and had recovered about 400 grams Mefedrin drug. But a drug peddler named Sayed, who used to supply drugs escaped from the officers but the officials trapped Shweta Kumari.

The officials have not got any clues about the whereabouts of Sayed who has escaped. The cost of drugs that were confiscated is believed to be about 8 to 10 lakhs. The NCB officials who are continuing their investigations have seized Shweta's mobile phone and are scanning her call records, her connecting numbers and Whatsup chats details to question her further.
