Gollapudi Maruthi Rao's last rites to be held in Chennai in a while

The last rites of the legendary actor, writer and director Gollapudi Maruthi Rao who died on Thursday will be held in Chennai in a while. The deceased's grandson and grand daughter who resides in abroad arrived in Chennai.

Film fraternity paid tributes to Gollapudi on his death. Gollapudi Maruthi Rao's funeral will be held at Kannammapeta Cemetery in T.Nagar of Chennai. The actor died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai on the 12th of this month.

With the death of Gollapudi, all the literary lovers are sad and expressed their grief. Gollapudi's family members had to come over from abroad so his dead body was placed at his residence in Chennai. The funeral ceremony will be held today.
