Did Public Fight With Husband On Sets Drive VJ Chitra To Suicide?

The speculation surrounding the suicide of Tamil actress VJ Chitra refuses to die down with a new angle coming to the fore at a different stage of its investigation.

In the latest development, a person close to Chitra (friend) has revealed an interesting theory about the actor's suicide. Earlier, there were rumours that Chitra's hubby Hemanth may have abetted her suicide and he was also arrested for the same reason.

Later, we heard that Chitra's ties with her family were nothing to rave about and that the actress had fought with mom for just before ending her life.

However, we now hear Chitra's friend giving another new version. She says that the Tamil TV actress was close to a Telugu actor. The actor is said to have some political connections. She says that the Telugu guy had shot a private video of Chitra and would use that to blackmail her saying he would send it to her husband.

Now, this new theory lends a different angle to the case investigation. The actor is said to have asked the actress to join a New Year party to be hosted by a politician. He put immense pressure on Chitra to accompany him to the party, it is learnt.

It has also emerged that Chitra's husband Hemanth barged into the serial sets and had a showdown with her in front of all the artistes which embarrassed her. The husband is said to have suspected her fidelity and also said to have threatened her with divorce.

Unable to bear the embarrassment, Chitra is said to have committed suicide. The police arrested Hemanth and a probe is on to ascertain facts. Chitra had tied the knot with Hemanth on October 21 in a secret ceremony. The couple was reportedly planning to reveal their union in February.
