Modi's story fails to impress cinemagoers
In the recently concluded general elections, Narendra Modi has led his party BJP to a massive victory and became the Prime Minister of the country for the second consecutive time. But, things are exactly reverse in the case of his biopic, PM Narendra Modi, which is performing badly at the box office.
After getting delayed due to the order of the court, the film has finally hit the screens on 24th of this month. Due to the lack of promotions, it has opened low at the box office. It has managed to collect Rs. 2.5 crores on the first day of its release. On the other hand, Hollywood film Aladdin which released on the same day managed to earn Rs. 4.25 crores.
Modi biopic did a bit better on the second day by collecting Rs. 3 crore on its second day. But it still low, compared to the budget of the film. Looks like it is heading towards to become a flop. Directed by Omung Kumar, Vivek Oberoi played the lead role in this film.
