Teja mulls Hindi film on Article 370?
Director Teja is all set to helm a Bollywood film with seasoned Hindi actors and has chosen a contemporary theme which revolves around abrogation of Article 370.
A leading B-town corporation house will be bankrolling the big budget film to be entirely shot in picturesque Kashmir. "It is true that Teja is in talks with a B-town corporate house but nothing is fixed yet. However, it will be a path-breaking and contemporary film to give his career a big leap," says a source, close to the unit.
Actually, the 'Jayam' director has cranked camera for many B-town movies like 'Baazi,' Ghulam,', 'Sangarsh,' and 'Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehte' before turning director with Telugu film 'Chitram' in 2000.
"He has been in touch with some B-town stars and producers over the years and was looking to return to B-town for some time. As he found the right script, he is raring to go," the source adds.
Probably, 'Nijam' director would be moving to B-town since his last film 'Sita' crashed at the box office to erase good memories of his blockbuster film 'Nene Raju Nene Mantri'. "He is also in talks with Telugu actors and will be also doing a Telugu movie soon," the source concludes.
Now that young director Sandeep Vanga is making waves in B-town with sensational hit 'Kabir Singh' and signed another movie, it is right for Teja to head to B-town.
