Telugu woman bags WEC Excellence award in UK

With an aim of empowering women, which will help to rebuild our society and that would take nation on a path of greater development, Naari Shakthi Women Empowerment (NSWE) founder Lavanya Kavuri won Exceptional Women of Excellence at International Women Economic Forum (WEF) in UK.

She believes in empowering women is all about to strengthening the social, educational and economic powers of women. And to create an environment where there is no gender bias and have equal rights in society and workplaces.

Speaking to The Hans India Lavanya Kavuri said that, "Naari Shakthi Women Empowerment organisation has been recently established in Vijayawada, with an aim to work on women empowerment for rural women to uplift their lives and promote gender equality.

The organisation has started successfully bringing women self awareness in rural areas for few villages. Currently the organisation is encouraging and identifying potential women representatives to contest in local elections for village development. Currently the organisation has a strength of 25,000 volunteers in Andhra Pradesh to work at district, mandal and village level."

She said, "The organisation is also associated with other national prestigious partners like International women empowerment forum, CMAI Asia , CMAI Europe, TEMA, AMAAMYA foundation by Actress Isha Chawla and D'LA Valentina foundation by former Mrs Asia India Valentina Mishra."

She said, "The prestigious Exceptional Women of Excellence awarded, recognising the founder's determination to give back to motherland, exceptional talent to establish partnerships and 25,000 volunteers at ground level to implement the women empowerment vision all within a period of five months.

Especially women empowerment with multi dimensional development of woman is aligned with United Nations sustainable development goals much appreciated by women economic forum.""I am the first Telugu woman nominated for this award also only India to represent India in UK," she added.

She said, "Women Economic Forum is global chamber of women entrepreneurs and leaders worldwide with international platform enabling women and leaders to spread out their wings in chosen fields by fostering conversations, community, connections and collaborations among women worldwide.

WEF head 1,000 chapters worldwide with 100K members. The award is conferred on eminent women and leaders in all walks of life who through their pioneering example become the role models of excellence for others."

NSWE founder Lavanya Kavuri said, "Dedication towards women empowerment and her leadership have been impacting women who are pillars of the nation. She was also speaker on theme "Confidence and Authenticity" in Birmingham Women Economic Forum Event. Dr Neslyn Watson Druee had presented the award on this occasion held on July 10 in Birmingham."

She said that Dr Neslyn is a professional executive coach serving CEO's, Directors and aspiring directors to be best in their leadership, achieve high performance, achieve excellence and transform their business and life with integrity, passion, vision, and emotional intelligence. She is also an awardee of "100 Best Global leaders".
