JEE Main 2021: Exams notification withdrawn; Find details
The National Testing Agency (NTA) posted the notification Tuesday for the Main 2021 Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) on its official website at - jeemain.nta.nic.in, only to be withdrawn hours later. According to the brochure, beginning next academic year, JEE Main will be held in multiple shifts: February, March, April, and May.
According to officials, the date of the JEE Main exam has yet to be decided.
The registration process for JEE Main 2021 began on December 15. The last date of application of JEE Main 2021 is January 15, 2021. Candidates can submit the JEE Main 2021 application fee until January 16.
Starting next academic year, JEE Main 2021 will be held in four sessions, that is, from February to May, once a month. The first session of exam will be held from February 22 to 25, 2021, followed by the next three sessions in March, April and May 2021. The first shift of the JEE main exam will be from 9 am to 12 pm while the second will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
"This is being done to ensure that the JEE (Main) 2021 does not interfere with the Board examinations, which may be held at different times across the States/UTs," NTA said.
The JEE Main 2021 results will be released four to five days after the exams end. NTA will release the JEE Main 2021 admission card in the first week of January.

To apply for JEE Main 2021, students need necessary documents with a copy of a signed and dated passport size photograph, scanned copy of the signature, date of birth as mentioned on the class 10 certificate, class 10 grade sheet and class 12, EWS, PWD, SC / ST or another reserve certificate, if applicable. And all relevant documents that support educational qualification certificates, according to the Indian Express report.
