Pallavi students all set to lead school
Hyderabad: Pallavi Model School, Boduppal celebrated the Investiture Ceremony of the prefect council turned out to be a spectacular event with the newly inducted members taking oath and promising to lead their school from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence. Young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge their duties entrusted to them by the school.
This momentous day began with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest Air commodore N N Reddy, Deputy Director General, National Cadet Corps (Andhra Pradesh & Telangana). The Principal Tanuja addressed the gathering and advised the Council to develop humility along with knowledge in the process of character building. The director, Pallavi Model School, Boduppal, Susheel Kumar is a source of inspiration and support as always and his presence at the event motivated the school council and staff alike.
The chief guest Air commodore N N Reddy, propounded that leaders are not born but are made by themselves and emphasized on the qualities good leaders should have .They are, being strong physically and mentally, developing certain abilities that inspire others, to have domain knowledge of whatever field they take up, to be good at academics, and sports and have a vision to articulate the design to ones team.
A leader must communicate to the team and convey the ideas clearly. He reiterated that a leader should have interpersonal relations intact, must be sensitive and empathetic to the needs and drawbacks of the team and to have a feedback from the members for the betterment of the team.
Then the most important point Mr Reddy conveyed to the leaders was to be intra personal, i.e. to be self aware about what one is, regulate ones own lifestyle, motivate oneself and being credible to oneself to grow into a person of moral character.
The other esteemed guests present included Group captain K M Venugopal and Colonel Sahil Damodaran. The head boy Tanishq and the head girl Shruthi, The Pre-Primary boy Sai Advit and the girl Tanvi Krishna promised to walk together and work together for the progress of the school. The event concluded with Haritha Haram programme of planting saplings by the chief guests and the prefect council.
