Jumma Tul Wida 2020– Significance of Ramadan's Last Friday

Jumma Tul Wida 2020: The most pious month Ramadan is all set to bid adieu soon! The Last Friday of Ramadan known as 'Jumma-Tul-Wida', the word Alvida means 'good-bye'. A special day that brings abundant blessings, endless mercy and salvation to the seekers.

The Prophet Mohammad said 'Jumma-Tul-Wida' is the most blessed day than any other days. Those who spend this day in worship will be protected from all the evils.

Every year during Ramadan, the last Friday is celebrated with pomp, masjids are occupied for the prayers. But this year due to Coronavirus, lockdown is prevailing across the country. This year people celebrated this holy day in their homes. It is very auspicious to recite the Quran on this sacred occasion.

Without any shade of a doubt, the Muslims believe that the Last Friday of Ramadan is the day for the acceptance of Duas (prayers). Due to the lockdown, the prayers of the Jumma-tul-Wida' were performed in the homes instead of in the masjids. As gatherings are not allowed in masjids yet, one must stay home and offer the other prayers as well.

The Muslim community observed Jumma-Tul-Wida with great enthusiasm and devotion. In Jumma-Tul-Wida people prayed for the eradication of the Coronavirus and the safety of all Indians.

On this holy day, heartfelt prayers are offered for the blessings and rewards. It is the sign of majesty and prominence for the faithful. It is an utmost illustration of wonder and magnificence.
