Jagadish Shettar wins in Belgaum Lok Sabha constituency

BJP has won the Belgaum Lok Sabha constituency for the 6th time

Former CM Jagadish Shettar has won from Belgaum, even though he was labelled as an outsider. Mangala Angadi, the only woman MP of North Karnataka, was denied the ticket and Jagdish Shettar was given a ticket. The Congress party used the weapon of an outsider against Shettar. Hebbalkar now has a setback as she had asked Jagadish Shetter's address. Lingayat and Maratha voters have once again held BJP's hand. The BJP stronghold in Belgaum is further strengthened.
