Safari ride and trekking which are a part of tiger stay package in Nallamala Hills began today. The forest department made the bookings open on www.amrabadtigerreserve. Pricing for two people is Rs 4,600. Tourists can enjoy scenic beauty of green forests, have a glimpse of the various animals that include black bucks, sloth bears, tigers, leopards and others. The 'Tiger stay package' include cottage stay, educational tour, safari ride, and forest trek up to Umamaheshwaram Temple and food. In the safari ride, the tourists will be taken to Farhabad view point through the forest paths accompanied by the local youth from Chenchu tribe who will explain about the culture of the local tribe and spot the wild animals.
Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan has fallen ill and was airlifted from Vijayawada to Hyderabad for treatment. Governor Biswabhushan appears to have fallen seriously ill with a lung problem on Wednesday morning. Biswabhushan Harichandan is being treated at the AIG Hospital in Gachibowli. The governor was rushed to hospital after falling ill this morning. It seems that the doctors will release a bulletin on his health. A team of expert doctors is currently treating the governor. The governor who has been very careful about health for some time in view of Coronavirus outbreak. He was also fallen ill recently but later recovered and he was shifted to Hyderabad as a precautionary measure after he fell sick on Wednesday.
Sangareddy district collector M Hanumantha Rao on Wednesday took additional charge as Siddipet district collector. Additional collector Muzamil Khan, district revenue official B Chennaiah and other officials were present. It is already known that M Hanumantha Rao was given full additional charge as Siddipet collector with the resignation of P Venkatram Reddy. Venkatram Reddy resigned as Siddipet collector ahead of his announcement of joining TRS party. The ruling party confirmed his name for the MLC election under MLA quota. The nominations were filed on Tuesday in the legislative assembly complex.
The tragic incident took place in the Guntur district where a volunteer died of severe fever days before his wedding. Going into the details, Naga Chaitanya, son of Ravela Sivaiah and Venkaiahma of Pedakurapadu Mandal Linganguntla, is a village volunteer. He was engaged to get married to a young woman from Narasaraopet. The marriage was to take place on the 14th of this month, but on the 13th, he fell ill with a fever and postponed it to November 20.Read more
Three people of a family including a teenage girl was arrested by the Kamatipura police for their involvement in four theft cases. The police recovered gold ornaments worth Rs 6.5 lakh from them. The arrested were identifies as Zakiya Begum (43), a homemaker, Mohd Abdul Saleem (40), a vendor and their daughter Ayesha Siddiq (19), a domestic help. The results of election conducted for 13 municipalities, including Nellore Corporation, city panchayats, and vacant divisions and wards in another 10 municipalities will be released on Wednesday. It is learned that elections were held on Monday for 325 divisions and wards in the respective municipalities wherein 1,206 candidates contested for 325 seats. Officials made all the arrangements for the counting of votes, which will take place in a total of 23 centers. A total of 5,14,086 out of 8,62,066 people exercised their vote on Monday's poll.Read more
