3-day exhibition for Divyangs begins

Bandlaguda : A three-day national summit and exhibition for Divyangans started at Sharadhamam Shikshana Kendra, Bandlaguda Jagir, here on Friday. It will conclude on September 15.

Organised by Samdrushti, Kshamata Vikas Evam Anusandan (SKSHAM), a national organisation with the base at Nagpur and operations in Hyderabad, this is the 10th Summit held annually, and it is the first to be held in the state of Telangana.

His Holiness Swamy Paripoornananda Saraswati; Manmohan Vaidya, Saha Sar Karyavaha, RSS; G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs; Ch Malla Reddy, Labour Minister, Mallika Nadda, national vice-president, Saksham; M Jagadeeshwar, Principal Secretary, Women & Child Welfare; Dr Patola Sudarshan Reddy, former Superintendent, Niloufer Hospital and others will grace the summit.

Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr Thawar Chand Gehlot will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the Summit on September 15. Some 350 national delegates and successful disabled persons and organizations work on Disability will chalk out the course of action for disabled in the country, said Dr Santosh.
