85 receive spectacles at free eye camp

Karwan: Free Eye Screening and Cataract check-up camp was organised by Al-Khair Society Jamaat-e-Islami Hind in Nazeer Function hall in Hakeempet, Tolichowki on Sunday.

It was inaugurated by Karwan MLA Kausar Mohiuddin. More than 250 patients were tested, and free spectacles were distributed among 85 patients. A total of 40 patients with cataract surgery were detected and 11 patients were referred to Sadhuram Hospital in Domalguda instantly in Hospital Van for free surgery.
