BJP's Seva Saptah: Free eye camp organised

Musheerabad: As part of Seva Saptah, a social service programme conducted on the occasion of 69th birthday of the PM Narendera Modi, BJYM city president Vinay organised free medical camp at Arundhati Nagar of Gandhinagar division on Thursday.

Dr K Lakshman, state BJP president, who attended the programme as the chief guest, distributed spectacles to people who have undergone eye tests.Speaking on the occasion, Dr K Lakshman said that the national party has given a call to conduct social service programmes as part of PM Modi birthday celebrations.

Fruits and other things will be distributed at BC hostels, orphanages and hospitals across the state, he said. Free health camps will also be conducted, and disabled persons will be provided necessary help for their studies, he said.

Later, BJYM city president Vinay distributed fruits and books at government and RTC schools at Ramnagar. He said a mega health camp will be held at Chikkadpally community hall on Friday. Among those who participated in the programme include BJP and BJYM activists Gopal, VST Raju, Sai, Chandu and others.
