Bus stop sans shelter at Tukaram Gate

Secunderabad: A large number of middle class families in Secunderabad live in Tukaram Gate area. Thousands of people over there prefer the bus route to reach their destination.

These important bus stops of Tukaram Gate and Addagutta are lacking in shelters while the TSRTC and GHMC officials are not showing any interest in constructing them. Tukaram Gate and Addagutta are the bus stops for the buses from Hanmanpet, Safilguda, Malkajgiri and Anandbagh.

There will no place for passengers even to stand in morning and evening hours. In such density of people, they are waiting on roads to catch the bus. People are moving their steps towards shops and trees and waiting for bus to avoid sun strokes. Some are even missing the buses while coming from the nearby shops. People are requesting officials to arrange a bus stop in this region and solve the issue.

Leading to Traffic Jams

Due to lot of two-wheeler vehicles, four wheeler vehicles and buses travel through this route, a lot of traffic jam is taking place while buses take U turn at Lalaguda railway station.
