Collector Dr MV Reddy takes stock of Mana Nagaram
Kompally: Medchal-Malkajgiri District Collector Dr MV Reddy inspected the works taken up under 'Mana Nagaram' programme on Bahdurpalli-Kompally road on Sunday. During his visit, he inspected cleanliness and the saplings planted on both sides of the road.
He interacted with workers who were taking out weeds at the saplings. He advised them to wear gloves and shoes to protect them from poisonous insects such as scorpions and snakes in the grass. He instructed Municipal Commissioner Jyothi to take necessary measures to provide gloves and shoes to workers.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that electricity works would also be undertaken as part of 'Mana Nagaram' programme. Instructions were given to the Municipal Commissioner to take necessary measures to maintain cleanliness and take out weeds in the vacant plots.
On finding a person urinating beside the road, the Collector asked the official to impose a fine of Rs 100 and warned the person not to do it again. An auto driver who parked on the road was also warned and a fine of Rs 100 was imposed on him. Dundigal tahasildar Yadaiah other district officials accompanied the Collector.
