Drinking water reservoir inauguration on June 15
Sanath Nagar: Minister for Animal Husbandry, Dairy, Fisheries and Cinematography Talasani Srinivas Yadav instructed water works authorities to take measures for the inauguration of drinking water reservoir, being built at Sanath Nagar with an estimated cost of Rs 5 crore, on June 5. He was speaking at a meeting held in his chamber with water works officials here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the reservoir was being built keeping in mind the drinking water needs of Sanath Nagar and Ameerpet divisions. He hoped that the water scarcity in the divisions would be addressed with the starting of the reservoir. He ordered the water works officials ensure that drinking water was supplied to every colony. He asked the officials to deploy water tankers to supply water to the colonies which would not receive water supply.
Water works technical director Praveen Kumar, CGM Sudarshan, GM Prabhu, Mahesh Kumar, Venkateshwar Rao, director operations Krishna, Vijaya Rao and other officials attended the meeting.
