Free workshop on thesis writing conducted

Abids: Prsashas Research Consulting Company organised a free thesis-writing workshop here on Monday. Professor DK Lal Das and Dr G Ashirvadam shared their expertise and knowledge on the subject.

Speaking on the occasion, Professor DH Lal Das said that most of the researchers have been adopting 'copy writing' methods rather than focusing on their research. Most of the researchers blindly follow the recommendations of their guides.

As a result, they do not focus on their research but engage in plagiarism. He hoped that the workshop would guide research scholars to focus on the research instead of engaging in plagiarism. Plagiarism should be eliminated in order to produce good PhD and M Phil scholars, he said.

Among those who participated in the workshop were D Kulakarni, Dr S Rajyalakshmi and others.
