Free workshop on entrepreneurship held

Hyderabad: The All India Small Scale Industries Minorities Committee organized an Awareness Campaign “Khud Khao” and a free workshop on the opportunities and scope of tiny industries, on Sunday. A large number of men and women attended the programme. 

Committee president Syed Zainul Abedin Sayeed welcomed the gathering and said that the committee aims to provide information and knowledge about the employment opportunities to the deserving people. He said that there are number of production activities which can be carried out with small investment. 
Retired Government of India faculty Ch V S Murthy said that a number of schemes were in vogue through which loans and financial assistance could be obtained. It requires patience and knowledge to get benefit from those schemes. He also said that there is a lot of scope and opportunities for different tiny units. 

Senior journalist Shoukat Ali Khan advised the participants to shun shyness before starting any production or commercial activities. He said that it was the  close ones that discourage entrepreneurs from taking up any activity. Mohammed Raziuddin an entrepreneur spoke about the herbal products. Mir Ayub Khan General Secretary highlighted the aims and objects of the Committee.
