Gandhi teachers lay siege to Director of Medical Education office

Koti: Medical teachers working in Gandhi Hospital laid siege to the DME (Director of Medical Education) office located at Koti on Thursday, demanding resolution of their pending demands.

The teachers arrived at the DME office in two buses and laid siege to DME office. They demanded that the DME implement PRC, career advancement scheme and provide them transport allowances.

Later, they held discussions with DME Ramesh Reddy. They withdrew their protest as the DME assured them to address their issues. Medical teachers warned that they would intensify their protest if their demands were not met within a week.
