GHMC fixes overflowing sewerage in Kapra

Kapra: Following publication of a news item 'Sewerage overflow raises hackles' published in The Hans India dated May 4 , the Kapra Circle GHMC officials immediately responded by taking up repair works.

The civic body staff cleared/cleaned the overflowing /sewerage drainage in front of Sri Sairatna Hotel in A S Raonagar division using an air-tech machine.

Dr Maitreyi, AMHO, Kapra, told The Hans India that people in residential colonies should promptly bring cases of drainage/sewerage overflow to their notice so that the officials could immediately take remedial action.

She asserted that her staff was working with the aim of ensuring that people live in healthy surroundings and remain healthy.
