Hyderabad: 'Swayamvaram' for those against dowry

Hyderabad: An organisation engaged in discouraging dowry practice and encouraging couples to get married without falling prey to the 'social evil,' will be holding a virtual meeting for like-minded people on Dec 27.

The organisers who organise the event at huge auditoriums like Ravindra Bharathi every year have decided to go for virtual meet this year in view of pandemic. The candidates who wish to get married without giving or taking dowry may participate in 'Swayamvaram' through Zoom app this time.

According to Idontwantdowry.com founder Satya Naresh, it is a good opportunity for the people to find their soul mates who share their lofty ideals. "Couples who got married are living happily and hopefully they are taking the message forward," he said.
