Inter-state gang of thieves busted

Hyderabad: The area police on Thursday tactfully nabbed an inter-State gang of thieves and recovered 70 carats of silver, four bikes and Rs 13,000.

DSP Rajeswara Rao told the media that the gang comprising Vadde Sanjeev of Kondapur mandal, D Ravi of Patancheru , K Mahender Reddy of Manikonda and Vadde Kumar of Narsapur used to target temples in Ameenpur, Ramachandrapuram, Bollarum, Miyapur, Narayankhed and Chevella areas of Patancheru constituency after stealing bikes.

The gang members were caught during checking of vehicles. After interrogation, they revealed the thefts committed in temples and were later sent in remand. The DSP appreciated the work of the police team in nabbing the thieves. Among those present at the media conference were CIs Naresh and Lalu Naik and SI Srinivas.
