Jammigadda residents seek land for burials

Kapra: Residents of Jammigadda submitted a memorandum to Labour Minister Ch Malla Reddy on Sunday seeking three acres for burial ground. They also urged for amenities like boundary wall, lights and water.

Malla Reddy said he remembered Bandari Lakshma Reddy undergoing hunger strike for the same. He assured that he would take the issue to the notice of district collector.

Murali Panthulu, Bandari Lakshma Reddy, AS Rao Nagar corporator Pavani Reddy, Goli Srinivas, Kandula Lakshmi Narayana, Bupathi Reddy, Gaddam Srinivas, Satyanarayana, Sobha Reddy, Manemma, Sirisha and others were present.
