Collector reviews I-Day arrangements

Medchal: District Collector M V Reddy on Tuesday directed the RDO to send Independence Day invitations to Minister Ch Malla Reddy, local MP, MLAs and MLCs, besides freedom fighters and other public representatives.

Addressing a review meeting on the Independence Day arrangements, he asked the civil supplies department staff to provide snacks and drinking water to guests at the I-Day celebrations. Reddy directed the DPO to ensure sanitation, fixing of tree guards and clean surroundings at the parade.

He asked DCO to arrange stalls, besides those of the various departments, on the collectorate premises to mark the I-Day. Among those present were DRO Madhukar Reddy, RDO Lachhi Reddy, officials of the departments concerned.
