Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti, Yadav body pass resolution in support of Sai Kiran
Musheerabad: Telangana Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (MRPS) passed a unanimous resolution supporting Sai Kiran Yadav, Secunderabad TRS candidate and Hyderabad MIM candidate Asaduddin Owaisi in the ensuing Lok Sabha polls, in its state meeting held at RTC Kalabhavan here on Monday. Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav attended the meeting as chief guest.
Speaking at the meeting, the Animal Husbandry and Cinematography Minister, said that Dalits were ignored by the previous governments despite their tall promises and false assurances. He said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was the only leader to understand the sufferings of downtrodden and backward sections in the State.
KCR has proved himself as a saviour of poor with several welfare schemes such as Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak, Rythu Bandhu, Aasra pensions to senior citizens and pensions to single women. He appealed to people to vote for the youngest Parliament candidate in the nation Sai Kiran Yadav, who is TRS candidate contesting from Secunderabad Parliament constituency.
National president of TMRPS Medi Papaiah said KCR has strived for protecting their rights but BJP which promised to bring categorisation of SCs within one year has failed to fulfil its promise even after five years.
Justice was not done even during Congress rule, he added. He opined that only leader like KCR can address their issues and do justice to them. He criticised some of their leaders who were engaged in caste politics. He predicted that Sai Kiran Yadav would win Secunderabad seat by a huge majority of 6 lakh votes. He called upon Dalits to support Sai Kiran and Asaduddin in the forthcoming elections.
Meanwhile All India Yadav Convention, held at Jalavihar on Monday, passed a unanimous resolution supporting the Secunderabad Parliament TRS candidate Talasani Sai Kiran Yadav.
Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, who was the chief guest of the meeting, said Telangana government has accorded suitable place for Golla and Kuruma communities, who were ignored by the erstwhile State governments, after the formation of new state. He explained various welfare schemes initiated by the state government for the welfare of Golla and Kuruma communities.
The government has distributed sheep to the community members at the cost of Rs 5,000 crore, he said. Buffaloes are also being distributed on subsidy, he noted. These schemes apart, the government has allocated five acres of land worth Rs 100 crore for constructing Yadav community building and has granted Rs 5 crore for the construction.
Srinvas Yadav said that TRS party has allocated seats to five MLAs and one Rajya Sabha MP to the community. He urged the members of the community to stand by the TRS party which has been striving for the welfare of the community in the ensuing Parliament elections.
