Meat market to be set up soon, says MLA Mahipal

Patancheru: Local MLA Mahipal Reddy said here on Wednesday that he would soon lay the foundation stone for setting up a meat market, after inspecting several construction works in the town along with officials.

The ongoing works that he inspected include the multi-purpose function hall and community hall in Chaitanyanagar Colony, Ambedkar Bhavan in Ambedkarnagar Colony, a minority function hall, GHMC office complex and Zilla Parishad and high school building.

Later, Reddy went round the local market and held discussions with officials on the establishment of a meat market. He said most of the building works in the town were in the final stages of completion. With minor works to be finished the buildings would be declared open soon for use. Among those who accompanied the MLA were GHMC Deputy EE Sudarshan, DE Venkataramana and AE Praveen.
