MLA Bethi Subash Reddy submits plea for Inter, degree colleges

Uppal: Uppal MLA Bethi Subash Reddy met Commissioner of Technical Education Naveen Mittal and Commissioner of Intermediate Education Omar Jaleel and submitted memorandums here on Tuesday.

He sought permission from Naveen Mittal for allowing women morning walkers into Ramanthapur Polytechnic College from evening 5 pm to 7 pm. He requested Omar Jaleel to establish new inter and degree colleges in the constituency.

After the meeting, the MLA said that there was a need to establish new inter and degree colleges in the constituency as many poor families in the constituency could not afford to study in private institutions.

Moreover, many students had to commute long distances as there were no local colleges. The MLA was accompanied by TRS leaders L Raghupathi Reddy, M Mallikarjun Goud, I Mohan Reddy and others.
