MLA Dr M Anand questions devp of satellite township

Vikarabad: MLA Dr M Anand questioned the fate of 'Satellite Township', which was promised to be built in 2009-2014. Speaking in the Assembly on Wednesday, the MLA said Rs 2,000 crore fund was also sanctioned for this project, which assured of drinking water, underground drainage, outer ring road, radial roads etc.

"Officials informed that Rs 170 crore fund was released on first phase and works of underground drainage and drinking water facilities were commenced. But the issues are still continuing," the MLA said in the House. Responding to his query, the minister concerned KT Rama Rao replied that a comprehensive report will be given after attaining all details.
