Vikarabad: MLA Dr Methuku Anand on Wednesday observed that drinking water should be provided to the educational institutions through Mission Bhagiratha. He was conducting a review meeting with the officers of the Mission Bhagiratha at his camp office here. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the pipelines laid under the Mission Bhagiratha scheme in some villages remained incomplete and needed to be completed as early as possible.

Water connections in some areas were left unattended, and in some areas water was being wasted due to leakages. Stating this, the MLA suggested to the officials to solve the issue of drinking water by holding meeting with sarpanches, village secretaries, watermen and works inspectors. He said that roads were dug up in the villages and the CC roads should be laid as early as possible. He also said that he had received complaints that water supply in some areas were not being done properly. He directed the officials to ensure equal water supply to all areas.
