Open plot turns into dump yard

Old Alwal: An open plot in Panchsheel Enclave here is being used as a dump yard. The area is covered by plants, dead plants , plastic bags apart from other toxic wastes. The place is turning into breeding area for insects and animals.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Monday, P Shyam, a resident who stays nearby, said, "The GHMC workers do not take any action to clear the plot.'' Prateek Rao, a teenager said, "The garbage workers do not come to collect garbage for weeks. This leads to dumping of garbage on empty yards in the area."
