Orientation programme held for Haj pilgrims
Hyderabad: The Sixth Haj Orientation Training Camp for the Selected Haj Pilgrims was conducted at Royal Mosque Bhag-e-Aam, Nampally, on Sunday. Renowned scholar Moulana Qari Syed Mateen Ali Shah Quadri, spoke about Haj and Umrah rituals, and Dr Hafiz Ahsan bin Mohammed Al Hamoomi, spoke about the virtues of Haj, while Moulana Abdul Rasheed Talha spoke on the care to be taken while visiting the holy city of Madina Munawwarah.
Telangana State Haj Committee Chairman Mohammed Masiullah Khan, through a message sent on this occasion, congratulated the Haj pilgrims upon their selection though draw of lots.
In his message, he suggested to the pilgrims to take care of their health and practice walking every day. He also informed that the Chief Minister was committed to provide all facilities to the Haj pilgrims during Embarkation at Hyderabad. He requested Haj pilgrims to pray for Universal peace and wellbeing and prosperity of State of Telangana.
Telangana State Haj Committee Executive Officer Mohammed Abdul Waheed, explained about the procedures and regulations about the Haj journey. He pointed out to some important aspects of the Haj journey. He also advised the Haj pilgrims to observe extreme discipline, patience and decency while visiting the Holy Places of Makkah and Madinah.
Asst Executive Officer, Irfan Shareef welcomed the pilgrims and conducted the programme. All the staff member of Telangana State Haj Committee and 12 Khadim-ul-Hujjaj were also present on this occasion. This training camp was attended by large members of pilgrims both men and women
Religious scholars will deliver the lecture on Manasik-e-Haj and Ziyarath-e-Madina Munawwarah and highlighted the Haj rituals. Pilgrims proceeding through private tour operators also attended the programmes.
