Ramnagar Corporator inspects 2BHK flats
Musheerabad: GHMC standing member and Ramnagar corporator V Srinivas Reddy inspected the construction works of the double-bedroom houses, which were in progress at the Baghlingampally Lambadi Thanda of Ramnagar division here on Friday. These houses were being built by the State government.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, V Srinivas Reddy said the construction works were started in 2017 by the then Minister for Municipal Administration KT Rama Rao, in the presence of the then Home Minister Naini Narsimha Reddy and former MLA Dr K Lakshman, and the houses would be handed over to poor people after the completion of the works. A total of 126 flats in the 11 floors would be distributed to the residents of the basti, he added.
Reddy said that the construction works were in the final phase and flats would be handed over to beneficiaries by September. He assured the journalists that some flats in the buildings would be allotted to the journalists who were living in rented houses, if possible, after consulting with the former home minister Naini Narsimha Reddy and TRS working president KT Rama Rao.
Lambadi Basti president Kalyan, Sirigiri Shyam, Shiva Kumar, Prakash Reddy, Sathyanarayana, several beneficiaries of the houses accompanied the corporator during his visit.
