Himayathnagar: Balala Hakkula Sangham president Achyutha Rao conducted a meeting here on Sunday against the child rapes in the entire state.
Speaking on the issue, Achyutha Rao said, "Government should form a committee of experts to prevent rapes taking place against children. It is sad to hear that in the entire state of Telangana, there are several cases of child sexual abuse and rape cases being reported every day in some place or the other."
Furthermore, Achyutha Rao said that the Balala Hakkula Sangham was also demanding the setting up of an expert committee to explore ways to prevent the atrocities and extending medical treatment, counselling by a psychologist and providing financial support for legal battle. The government should make it mandatory for the local legislators to visit the victim's family and see that they get all the help, he added.
