Shaadi & Kalyana cheques presented at Ramachandrapuram
Ramachandrapuram: Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy observed here on Friday that the welfare schemes being taken up by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao since the formation of Telangana had been found to be much useful to people of all sections.
Addressing the gatherings in Ramachandrapuram and Ameenpur mandal, after distributing 120 'Shaadi Mubarak' and 'Kalyana Lakshmi' cheques for Rs 1.7 crore to 22 beneficiaries from several villages, Reddy stated that the two schemes were benefitting poor girls to get married.
He hailed KCR as a messiah of the poor, after he decided to allow RTC employees to re-join duty after the recent strike and to save the organisation. Among those present were TRS leader Gangula Sudhakar Reddy, T Panduranga Reddy, Chandrashekar, Sarpanches of several villages, MPTC members, officials and government staff, MPP Erla Devanand Mudiraj, MRO Vijay Kumar and former MPP Yadagiri Yadav.
