Chaderghat: Accusing the BJP for fanning religious sentiments aggressively across the nation, the Tahreek-e-Muslim Shabban (TMS), said the Modi government was causing heavy damage to secular and democratic framework of the country.

While addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, the president, TMS, Mohammed Mushtaq Malik said that the 'nefarious venom' of hatred has not confined to city but has spread further to small villages and hamlets as well.

"Prosperity of the country lies in love, solidarity and tolerance but the saffron party was busy in promoting RSS agenda. Issues like mob lynching, saffonisation of education, intervention in Shariah and NRC were cornering the Muslims most and unity was a need of the hour," he said.

He informed that in this circumstances, the Muslim organisations Tahreek-ei-Muslim Shabban, Jamaat-ul-Ulema Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Jamat-ahle-Hadees as well as all other religious scholars have unanimously decided to organise a meeting of all the heads of the religious institutions, scholars, intellectuals, educationists and member of parliaments from all over country at Hyderabad to ponder over the issues cornering the community.

As such a two-day All India Conference with a motto "A Clarion Call to the Community" is being organised on October 19 and 20, wherein 150 delegates from Delhi, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Assam, Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand would participate.

In order to keep hold of values of democracy and secularism, dignitaries from non-Muslim community are also being invited to the programme. Vice President M A Gaffar and Mohammed Bin Abdullah were present at the press conference.
