Two batches of Hajis arrive at RGIA

Nampally: Two batches consisting of 684 Haj pilgrims hailing from AP, Telangana and Karnataka arrived at the Haj Terminal of Shamshabad International Airport on Saturday.

The first flight Al-5404 with 342 Haj pilgrims of Andhra Pradesh arrived at 2.45 pm, and the second flight Al-5398 with 342 Haj pilgrims, including 213 Haj pilgrims of Karnataka, 117 of Andhra Pradesh and 12 of Telangana State, arrived at 5.25 pm.

According to Haj Committee, Chairman at Telangana State Haj Committee Md Masiullah Khan, along with B Shafiullah, executive officer at TS Haj Committee, received the Haj pilgrims at the airport and congratulated them on fulfilling their lifetime desire of performing Haj.

Hajis appreciated the arrangements under supervision of Md Masiullah Khan at the Haj terminal. Five liters of Zam-Zam water cans were distributed among the Haj pilgrims on this occasion. Volunteers were also provided to carry their luggage, along with free parking for visitors, who came to receive their relatives and friends.

The pilgrims after fulfilling necessary requirements came out of the Haj Terminal to join their dear ones in an emotionally-charged atmosphere. On September 15, the last flight Al-5494 is scheduled to arrive at Haj Terminal of RGI Airport in Shamshabad.
